Crazy Compositions: Treasured Absurdity

This episode is a remake of the pilot that changes a lot of things. I'm personally not fond of the way I wrote the pilot, so I decided to try again; this time with my current writing skills.

Development on this episode started in April of 2025, but due to a variety of factors (mainly Wilson's super-detailed animation in one scene), it wasn't until January of 2026 when it finally released. Future episodes won't have such detailed animation, to prevent the episodes from taking as long to develop.

This is the first appearance of Mr. Insane in the main series, and it's his second appearance overall.

When I was animating the scene with Mr. Insane, I showed the team a draft which showed Mr. Insane hopping on one leg (since he didn't have a proper walk cycle animated for him yet). Alex thought it added to his character and suggested to keep it that way; when Dylan went to revise the scene later, he polished it up a bit to look less temporary.

The scene with Wilson was originally meant to be in the pilot. It was cut because I was lazy (one of the many reasons I don't like the pilot.)

The pizza building was done by Alex, with a design based on the iconic "red roof" Pizza Hut buildings. I came up with the name "Pizza with Pizzazz!", with Dylan adding an extra Z to the title "Pizzaz with Pizazz!" along with changing the last Z at the end to orange.

The note in the treasure chest was originally going to say more. Dylan suggested it be cut down to just simply "it's not real" for comedic effect.
